Have a Good Night Sleep my little Kiddo..!!

“Chanda hai tu
Mera Suraj hai tu
Oo Meri Aakhon ka tara hai tu”

For every mom, her kid means a world to her and she will do anything to keep him/her happy and gay.

Well I too like every mom do an extra inch so that my little son always smiling. During the day I am with him to look after, but at night while everyone’s asleep, I want that my kiddo also have a good sleep without any disturbance. If he sleeps well he will wake up smiling and full of energy that he had gain during the sleep.

Now to do so, I have built a sleep time regime which helps my kid recognize that its night and sleeping time. In doing do even I get to spend a good time with him.

So to begin with I first give him a warm water bath and pat him dry properly. This cleans up all the germs and dirt gathered during the day on the body. After the bath I apply the baby lotion all over his body for his smooth skin. While applying the lotion I also try to give him some massage on his legs and back. This helps to relax his body.

After applying the lotion I let him in his soft and cozy night wear dress which covers all his body. Covering whole body also helps him protect against the mosquitoes if any in the room.

My kid is still not that big when he can control his bladder or wake up in the night and let me know. At night he still tends to pee while sleeping. So I have to let him wear a diaper during night. The diaper that I choose for him has to be one which gives a dry feeling, otherwise the feeling of wetness will disturb his sleep. For this I have chosen the new Pamper dry pants with extra dry technology. It gives the dry feeling even if he pees 2-3 times during the sleep.

So after making him ready for the sleep, the next thing that I do is to give him a bottle of milk. If he sleeps with stomach full, he doesn't get up in the night due to hunger cramps.
After having milk, he is now ready for his sleep. But he doesn't sleep just like that. I sing few lullabies for him. Even he sings few of them back with me. He is so fond of them that keeps asking for more. So while listening to the lullabies, his body and mind gets relaxed and then finally he goes to sleep.

It is the best feeling in the world for a mom to her kid sleep so innocently. After a good night sleep when he wakes up in the morning with all smiles and kisses me to say good morning, I cannot express the happiness that ushers in my body.

P.S.: This post is an entry to a campaign by Indiblogger and Pampers. For more details see the below video.
