Impact of Losing your Girlfriend

8:43 AM | Publish by Apurva

This is going to be really interesting. That’s exactly the thought you are currently having on reading the title of this article. No surprises, we all are always interested in other love stories and especially if it doesn’t turn out to be successful. Successful? Even this word has different interpretations for different people. What is further going to amaze you is that I am going to discuss the impact from the real life story of my husband. Yes, you read it right, wife sharing the husband’s story and the impact he had in his life after losing his girlfriend (one definite good impact was that I got married to him).

Generally, when a man loses his girlfriend and if he was actually serious about her, then either they lose their mind, they harm the girl, or their own life, thereby impacting the lives of everyone around them in a negative manner, or some of them lead a very normal life, or quickly try to look for someone else to become their support system (normal human tendency) and then again get ditched. But there are very few like my husband who makes their loss in life as the motivating factor to achieve high milestones in their life.

He was madly in love with a girl in his college. Even the girl used to love him a lot (that’s what she use to claim). But after college, my husband went for post-graduation and in the meantime the girl married another guy just because he was earning a handsome salary and my husband was still studying. The moment he came to know about it, he swore that he is never going to talk to that girl and at the same time he will study so hard that is starting package would be equal to the package of his girl friend’s spouse which he will be earning after 5 years of experience. My husband actually made that happen and bagged the highest package form the college placements. Since then he has never looked back, has not grudges about his past life and in fact takes everything in a positive spirit and believes that betrayal has proved to be a boon for him and he is not only successful but also blessed to have a wife like me along with a wonderful kid.

He once told me that there are some really successful people, business man etc. who have been betrayed in love and are now big shots in industry and have created big brands form themselves. He always says, your life is in your own hands. Nobody can ruin it except for you. So people should stop blaming others for their failures. It’s our ability/inability to deal with the particular situation/person that determines your future. Situations, people around you can impact you, but what you become completely depends upon how you take the impact.

For example, if I give you Rs. 100 note, it all depends on you, whether you buy something out of it, give it to someone needy or invest it to get more gains. Each action will have its own impact. I have just given you the note; your action/reaction will determine the impact and not me who gave you the note. Think about it.

Now, if I tell you that this article is written by me, me as in the husband and not the wife. What will you think about this article? It is fake? Whether the article is fake or not, is not important, whether it is written by husband or wife is not important, but what actions you are going to take in your personal life, how you will channelize your personal life is going to make the real impact

Think about it…!!!
