Ingredients
1 cup moong dal
2 cup Maida
2 tsp Suji
1 tsp red chilly powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp saunf (Fennel) seeds (roughly grinded)
1 tsp Corainder seeds (roughly grinded)
7-8 black pepper (roughly grinded)
1/2 tsp jeera
1/4 tsp Hing
salt as per taste
4 tbsp Oil (for mohan)
Oil for frying
Method
1. Soak the moong dal for 2 hrs. After soaking grind it into a coarse mixture
2. In a non stick pan, add 1 tbsp Oil.
3. Now add hing and jeera and the moong dal mixture
4. Roast it for 3-4 min.
5. Now add all the masalas and roast for another minute.
6. Keep the mixture aside.
7. Now in a vessel take the flour and add 3-4 tbsp oil and suji and knead it into a soft dough.
8. In a pan heat the oil for frying the kachoris
9. Take a small portion of dough and roll it into a small puri. Now fill it with 1 tbsp of moong dal mixture and again roll it into kachori size puri.
10. Fry it till golden brown on slow flame.
11. Your moong dal kachoris are ready. Can be served with chutney.
