Ingredients
7-8 Idlis
1 chopped Onion
2-3 chopped green chilies
1 tsp Mustard Seeds
1 tsp Chana dal
1 tsp Urad dal
Few curry leaves
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1-2 tsp Lemon Juice
Salt to taste
2 tsp Oil
Method
1. Take a bowl and soak the left over idlis for few seconds one by one.
2. After removing from water crumble them into fine mixture.
3. Now in a pan heat some oil and add the mustard seeds and let them crackle.
4. Now add the chana dal and urad dal and roast for a min.
5. Now add the curry leaves and green chilies and fry for few seconds
6. Now add the onions and fry till golden brown.
7. Now add the idli mixture along with other seasoning and mix well.
8. Sprinkle some water and let it for for 2-3 min.
9. Your jhatpat idli upma is ready to serve. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and nylon sev.
