Use Quikr Nxt and be Befikar..!!

It was just last month that we were in one of the city malls where we saw this promotion of a new Honda car. We were so tempted that we went there and had a look on the features and the car interiors. It had such advanced technology that were not present in our existing car. We were so impressed with the car that we could not stop thinking about it.

Next day during breakfast a thought just occurred in my mind and I asked my husband that why don’t we buy a new car (actually the one that we saw yesterday). He took a pause and then said yes. We will buy the new Honda car that we saw yesterday.

But after analyzing our finances, we realized that maintaining two cars will be very difficult for us. We can buy the new one only if we sell our old car which will also help us in financing the new one. But then we thought that it is so difficult to get a right agent who can help us to get a good price for the car.

Then we saw an advertisement about Quikr Nxt where we can sell old goods and direct deal with the buyers. We thought let us try this out. We registered ourselves on Quikr Nxt and posted an advertisement on it.  Along with a good description about the make and condition of the car we also posted few photographs of our car.

The next day of our post, we started getting inquiries about our car. The good thing is we don’t need to speak to the people over phone. The chat feature is so useful. The initial exchanges can be over chat where we answered the queries about the car. My husband had also installed the mobile app, so that he could connect to the buyers while he is on the go.

After chatting with lot of inquiries, we found 4-5 genuinely interested buyers who wanted to visit and check out the car. We called them at one of the meeting places and allowed them to have a test drive of the car.  Once they were satisfied with the car, we had negotiations with 3 of them.

After negotiations we finalized the deal on the price which we had initially thought of. The whole process just took a week and was so hassle free. The other good thing was that there was no agent or mediator involved. The entire deal was direct between us and the buyer. So none of us had to give any commission to anyone. Also the entire process was transparent and none of us felt cheated.

The next week we got the money from the buyer and completed the selling formalities. While we were in the process of talking to the buyers, we had already booked our new car. So once we got the money from the buyer we paid this money to the new car dealer and for the rest of the amount took a car loan. So within another week’s time our new car was at our door steps. We were so happy with our decision. And since we got a good price for our old car (thanks to Quikr Nxt) it did not caused any financial burden on us.

The dream that we both saw while were in mall checking out the car, finally came true..!!
