Life is all about going through different experiences, facing different situations and learning through the lessons. During our journey in life we come across various situations, some good, some bad and come out of them with flying colours.
But there are some incidents that leave a great impact on our life. I too had faced a situation which has left a great impact on my life. It had changed my way of looking at life and changed me completely.
During my younger days i was a very happy go lucky kind of a person. I never use to fear anything left like a superwoman. My scooty was the love of my life. My scooty use to zoom in a very high speed. I was famous as a rash driver in my college.
Many a times teachers use to ask me to be careful while driving. They use to explain me how precious life is and one should not risk it and be careless about it. But you that age... i never use to give a dam about what they said.
One day me and my friends decided to go on a bike ride. Most of them had their bikes and only few of us had scootys. We decided to race with each other which i loved the most. As usual i was driving very fast and was ahead of everyone. We were on the way towards Lonavala. The road was full of curves and turns. I as a carefree person was driving very fast as if am the only vehicle on that road.
I was in my own world while driving, when suddenly a car came in from the front. Suddenly it was all black in front of me. It was a very narrow road and i was at a very high speed. I went completely blank and didn't knew what to do. And then BANG.. i bumped into the car and fell down. Luckily i fell on the other side of the road and not the valley side, else i would not have been alive to write this post.
It was a big accident. The people in the car were helpful and took me to a hospital. Luckily i just had fractured my leg and suffered few bruises. That accident was an eye opener to me. It made a great impact on me. I had seen the face of death in those few moments which i cannot forget.
That incident has left a big impact on my life. I realized the value of life and how with just one mistake i could have lost my life. That day onwards i stopped risking my life. I became a very safe driver and till now i take utmost care and all the safety precautions while driving as i do not want to face that situation once again in my life.
