Day to day simple, yet intersting jhatpat recipes...!!

A story of another die-hard cricket fan..!!

2:24 AM | Publish by Apurva

Cricket is like God in India. People are crazy about cricket here, and i am also one of them. I am a die-hard cricket fan.
My mood swings depends on how India is playing. If India plays well and win, i am the happiest person on the Earth. But on days when India looses a match I become the most depressed person.

I remember getting up early in the morning to watch matches played abroad and taking a half day from the office if India is batting second.
There are times in office wherein one of the PCs the live streaming of match is played by someone through some proxy settings and we all get hooked to that PC as if some video conferencing is going on.
Oh God.. have done some crazy things to be able to see cricket matches played by India.

But now things have become easy. Now everyone has smart phones with internet connection. So instead of depending on someone to crack the proxy setting in the office, or try to hear the commentary while on the Go, everyone can watch the streaming on their mobile phones.
But then there are no good streaming sites available to be able to watch the cricket match without any interruption. Many a times i become so frustrated due to the streaming speed that i totally give up watching the match and then have to watch only the highlights on television.

I wish there could be some browser or an app available only for cricket, so that people can watch matches even if there is no high speed internet connection.
It would be a boon for crazy cricket fans like me if I am able to watch matches from anywhere.

And not only this the apps should be able to allow me to watch a shot as many number of times I want, so that i can enjoy my cricket experience to the fullest.
Also, if I am not able to watch the live telecast due to some reason, i should be able to watch the full match at my convenient time and not be dependent on any television telecast.
Also, another thing i wish is that while watching a match i should be able to get whatever statistics that i want about any player or any match. Otherwise have to depend only on what is telecasted by the cricket coverage.

Have heard about UC browser that claims to faster, easier and features a cricket space dedicated for every cricket fan. So looking forward to it and use it as soon as possible as the India Zimbabve series is going to start. I am sure that i will be able to enjoy all the matches on the UC browser even when i am on the go or in office.
