Fantastico Childhood

9:36 AM | Publish by Apurva

We all are adults. But how many of us at least sometimes miss our childhood. No prizes for guessing this one. We all miss our childhood. What’s reason to miss our childhood? Simple we all had a fantastico childhood with lots of fond and fantastico memories of our own. No tensions. Didn’t knew how to complicate things. We used to keep things very simple. No politics, no worries. Only creativity, fun and some studies as well for a change.

We all had such a simple routine. No responsibilities at all. Carefree, inquisitive and fun loving. Everyday, we just used to go to school in the morning, then study in the afternoon, then play with your friends in the evening, then play with your parents in the night with some homework of course and then sleep for good 8 to 10 hours a day.

Now when I think of those days, I feel as if these were the golden days of my life. When we are child we used to think when we will grow up. Now when we have grown we think can we again become a child.

When we were small kids we used to participate in the races, with this Marathon I feel the same, running a race with nothing to lose. Competition is there but fear of losing is missing, because there are lot of platforms and competitions to be played. Important is participation and enjoying the journey of competition rather than what you get in the end, i.e. win are loss.

This itself is a fantastico feeling.

I remember earlier we use to try to do everything on our own. We were so inquisitive that we wanted to do everything on our own and experience on our own. Now we have money and want someone else to do our work. What an irony.

Things which seems to be fantastico  in childhood seems to be troublesome, hectic and boring for us now.

Times change, meaning of fantastico remains the same but the implication of the meaning of the word fantastico its meaning for each individual will keep on changing with time, prioritizes, work pressure, peer pressure, responsibilities and duties, personal or professional.

The only thing constant in this world is change. Hence the use of the word fantastico is definitely going to change in the coming time. I won’t be surprised if the word itself changes. In fact this word itself is a changed or modified version of the word Fantastic.
But is that bad, not at all. We just need to find our fantastico moments and keep on innovating with the fun element attached to it, even for that matter if we further need to modify the word or situation.

Let’s try that as we grow older, the fantastico moments of our childhood doesn’t get lost but we keep on living them in a more innovative manner.

This blog post is inspired by the blogging marathon hosted on IndiBlogger for the launch of the #Fantastico Zica from Tata Motors. You can apply for a test drive of the hatchback Zica today.
