Knowledge is ageless. There is no
age limit to gain and share knowledge. Each day you live, you learn something
from people you meet, articles you read, programs that you watch on TV etc. and
add it up to your knowledge. Similarly dreams have
no age, they are ageless. Some dreams we are able to fulfill but some not. But
one should never stop dreaming high. Dreams impact a lot in your life and help
you to achieve what you want in your life.
After completing formal education
and getting a job there are very few people who get a chance to go abroad and a
specialization in the subject of their interest from the place they want to. In
our society people have a different view towards people who have studied from
universities like Harvard, Oxford, MIT, Cambridge etc. I am sure even you would
raise your eyebrow if you get to know that other person has studied from some
famous foreign university.
Reena too had dreamed of studying
from a reputed foreign university and do her
specialization in the subject of her choice which is “Automobiles”. From her
childhood she had dreamed to design a car like the ones showed in Hollywood
movies like James Bond, Mission Impossible etc. For that matter she had chosen
to do her graduation in Mechanical Engineering in a hope to do specialization
in Automobiles later on. But after graduation she landed in an IT company doing
something which was nowhere related to Automobiles. But still in her heart she had
this wish to design her own dream car.
Such was the impact of her dream
that even after landing in an IT company for a job, Reena still didn’t gave up her
efforts to do masters from a foreign university. Two years continuously she gave
the GRE examination and in the second attempt she scored so well that she got
an admission in the Oxford Brookes University with complete scholarship. She chose her specialization
subject as automobiles as she had always dreamed of.
Oxford Brookes University is known for its leading courses in Automotive and Motorsports technology. It also have very close links with several formula 1 teams around Oxfordshire and hence the syllabus is developed with collaboration with the F1 teams. Over a decade the school has developed a niche for producing the Formula 1 design and race engineers who have developed the championship winning cars. It is a dream university for all the automobile lovers.
The impact of her dream was so
strong that it always gave her motivation and perform well and hence always
remained one of the top scorers in the class. And finally her dream came true, as
Reena landed a job in the most famous BMW. And one day even got an opportunity
to design her dream car.
Well such is the impact of dreaming
high. A person should never give up dreaming high. Your dreams will motivate
you to work harder towards it. And one day you will surely succeed in fulfilling
that dream.
