When we speak about navigation, the first thing that comes
to mind is the GPS system or the mobile app used to get the directions to
travel from one place to another. Basically navigation means, following a route
to reach from one position to another. We all are aware of the geographic navigation,
but have you ever thought of the navigation for the journey called LIFE.
Yes, life is also a navigation, some people realize it and
some do not. There is one category of people who know their destination and are
able to draw a navigation to reach that path, while another category is of the
people who do not know their destination, they just keep on traveling without any
navigation and get lost.
To lead an ideal life, it is very necessary that one should
follow a proper navigation. The total journey of the life can be broken into
various small destinations. Set smaller goals in life and draw your own
navigation path to reach that goal. Once you are able to all those smaller
goals, you will be able to achieve the last destination of your journey of life
and will achieve the moksha.
The navigation path that we chose to reach our destination
may not be always correct, or you may not be able to reach the different
landmarks in between your journey. So in that case what has to be done? Well,
the answer is simple, change your path. Yes, if in between you go off the
track, find is difficult to reach certain goal, don’t be afraid, and be always
ready to draw an alternate route. For example, one of the goals of my life was
to become a CA. Following my goal, I studied hard, cleared the intermediate
examinations, but then I was not able to clear the last examination. I gave two
attempts but all in vain. I became panic, as I was not able to reach my
destination and wasting my journey time. Suddenly I realized, that it is time
to look for an alternative route. I found my alternative route in doing MBA in
finance from a reputed college. So I quickly changed my navigation, cleared the
CAT examination and got into a reputed college and gained my degree. I do not
regret that I was not able to become a CA, as even after following the
alternate route, I am still on the track of my main journey and am working with
the organization I always wanted to work.
The key to the navigation of life is to recognize your
ultimate goal. Where do you want to reach in life, what so you want to achieve,
what kind of life you want to lead, what kind of character you want to live,
what examples do you want to set for other people. Once you can answer these
questions, you will know what your destination is, and what navigation you have
to follow to reach that destination.
