Music - Beyond any Boundaries

9:52 PM | Publish by Apurva

God created our planet earth as one, while we humans have divided it into different parts on the basis of land, religion, color, race, language, culture etc. I feel very sad to see the current state of our planet. There is so much of unrest among the people. Humans have become the enemy of humans. The peace and harmony of the entire earth is totally lost.

When I think, whether there is at least one thing that can keep the people united, the only answer that come to my mind is Music. Yes, Music is one thing that is not bound to any language, any boundaries, and any religion. It is as pure and serene as God.

Music doesn’t has its own language. It speaks the language of the person who is listening to it. It can travel beyond the boundaries of the country without any Visa. It is like a water, whose flow cannot be stopped by any human. It can symbolized to a river. As the river water flows across the boundaries, to different regions, the people of those regions considers it to be their own. The same river water is drank by a Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Jews and many other people of different religion and caste. Similarly, Music is something which doesn’t distinguish between people, it is the same for the people of all religion and caste.

People travel to different places, different countries. They may not understand their language, may find the food different, sometimes may not even like it, and may find their culture different. But one thing that they can easily understand is the music. Because music is not bound to any language and region. If you see in India also, more than 50% of the population may not know English or aware of Western side music. But you will still find people even in the rural places dancing to the music of Shakira, Madona, Backstreet boys, Michael Jackson etc. They don’t understand the lyrics of the song, but what they understand is the Music.

Nowadays, in this modern age of internet, music has found a new medium to travel here and there. We can see so many videos of people from other countries singing hindi songs with such an ease. For them hindi language is not a barrier for them, it the music that they can relate to. To whichever country you go, you will find the lovers of our Indian music everywhere.

Thus, let people create different boundaries for their own selfish needs, do not let people have good relationship with people across boundaries. But one thing that they cannot stop is the Music. Music is one thing that will keep people united and will become a medium to spread the message of peace and harmony around the world.
