Yesterday i witnessed a fantastico event on the television. It was the grand finnale of my favorite show Bigg Boss Season 9. I am one of those mad people who love watching Big Boss.
Big Boss in itself, i must say is a fantastico reality show. It has all the elements that make a reality show successful. Though i felt that the contestants were not that interesting as compared to the previous seasons, but still they all managed to pull the show.
If you ask me, my favourite contestant were Kishwar, Keith, Prince and Rishab. But during the final days of the show, some events took place which put my impression about Prince to a little negative.
But really speaking, surviving in that house with strangers away from friends and family is really a very great thing. So i believe that who could survive that long in that hose are all winners.
The shows's biggest strength is its host Mr. Salman Khan. He his the one who puts some life in the show when it goes very dull sometimes. He is the one who is able to show us the real face of the contestants. When they do good, he praises them, but when they are wrong, he doesn't leave an opportunity to grill them.
So talking about the fantastico grand finnale event. Of all the contestants, Prince Narulla, Rishab, Roshell and Mandana Karimi reached to the final four.
As expected, it was supposed to be a grand with lot of good performances and reality check for the contestants. The performances that i love the most were the ones by the one playing the character of Ashoka, Roshell and Keith and Rishab. I also loved the small performance by the celebrity guests Katrina Kaif and Arjun Kapoor who had come to promote the movie Fitoor. And how can one miss the leg pulling of Katrina by Salman. Though they are not a couple anymore, everyone loves their chemistry with each and other and want to see them together more often.
And now a days Krushan and Bharti are becoming the favorites for all the events for their roast format of comedy. And frankly they are doing a a good job as well. Well here too they were called to roast the Big boss contestants. The most funny jokes were on Gisell. Oh my god, the girl must have really felt embarrassed with those kind of jokes on her but she took them very sportingly.
With all the performances and some leg pulling of the contestants, the moment came when the winner had to be announced. With Prince and Rishab my heart also started beating faster. From a little corner of my heart i wanted Rishab to win but was happy when Prince was declared the winner.
Overall the entire event was very grand. And when Salman Khan is the host, it has to be full of drama and masti. It was one of the most fantastico grand finnale of reality shows of 2015-16.
