Every year my office arranges an annual party for all the employees. Like every year, this year too we got an invitation to the annual party. The invitation was not the usual one. It had lots of puzzles and clues and mentioned that the theme of this year's party is Horror. By seeing the invitation, i sensed that this year's party was going to be fantastico.
As we were informed two weeks in advance, we all got ample time to think of the costume that we are going to wear. The party for the topic of discussion for the entire two weeks as we all were excited to attend such fantastico party.
I had decided that i will dress up as a witch with witches hat and a broom. I got the black robe stitched for the event because i wanted to look the best witch.
Finally the day arrived. The event was going to begin at 6 pm in the evening. I reached the venue by 6.30. As i entered the hall, i could lot of people dressed as vampires, draculas, witches, ghosts and even ghost busters. I felt very satisfied with my costume and makeup and i was looking among all the other witches. For the first time in the life i was proud for looking the best witch.
As the party begun, i realized that the event organizers had left no stones unturned for this fantastico event. There were lots of games and activities arranged for us. Some were team activities while some were individual ones. But we all were having a gala time over there.
Then came the surprise part. Suddenly we could see a lot of music instruments being brought in the room. We all were given one musical instrument and were asked not to play the music until told. Then, on the stage the same set of instruments were placed and a musician came in. He taught us how to play those instruments. Then he said that today we all will be creating a music together to which we thought that this is impossible and will create a mess.
But as we all followed the instructions provided by the musician, the music generated was marvelous. It was an experience of a life time. We all played our respective instruments and were able to create some great music. Thanks to our HR who had thought of such activity.
So the party went on. After the activities, it was now Dinner time. Had heard a lot about this hotel for its good food. And the reviews were correct. The food was one of the best when compared to previous parties. After the food was the time for the DJ. We all danced like mad people till midnight.
Overall, as expected the party was really fantastico. We all employees had a great time and thanked the HR for arranging such event for us.
